Event Policies

Montreal Tango Marathon


The Montreal Tango Marathon is designed as an intimate, limited-capacity cultural event celebrating Argentine tango through social dancing, workshops, and artistic exchange. In order to maintain the quality of the experience for all participants, the following event policies apply.


1 - Registration Policy

Participation in the Montreal Tango Marathon requires advance registration through the official website.

All passes are issued exclusively through the official registration platform of the Montreal Tango Marathon.

The organizers reserve the right to manage registration in order to maintain a balanced and enjoyable dance environment for all participants.


2 - Ticket Policy

All passes purchased for the Montreal Tango Marathon are:

• Non-transferable

• Non-refundable

• Final sale

Once a registration is completed and confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, refunded, exchanged, or transferred to another person.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are available to attend the event before completing their purchase.


3 - Official Sales Channel

The only authorized way to obtain passes for the Montreal Tango Marathon is through the official Cosy Montreal website or through this official Montreal Tango Marathon web page.

To prevent fraud or unauthorized resale:

- Participants are strongly advised not to purchase passes from third parties, social media, or private sellers.

- Any pass obtained outside the official registration system will not be recognized by the organizers.

4 - Event Capacity

The Montreal Tango Marathon is intentionally designed with limited capacity in order to preserve an intimate atmosphere and a high-quality experience for all dancers.

For this reason:

- Access may be limited

- Early registration is strongly recommended

- Entry may be restricted once capacity is reached


5 - Program Changes

The organizers reserve the right to make adjustments to the schedule, program, instructors, or activities if necessary.

While every effort is made to present the announced artists and activities, circumstances beyond the control of the organizers may require modifications.


6 - Code of Conduct

The Montreal Tango Marathon is a cultural event built on mutual respect and the traditions of Argentine tango.

Participants are expected to behave respectfully toward other dancers, artists, staff, and venue personnel.

The organizers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior disrupts the event or the safety and comfort of others.
